Accused Buckingham Palace intruder remanded in custody

An alleged intruder charged after scaling the walls at Buckingham Palace and sneaking inside the royal grounds was remanded in custody today (mon). Awad Mustafa, 25, allegedly climbed a wall to enter the Royal Mews area adjacent to the King’s official residence in the early hours of Saturday. The palace is a protected site making trespass a criminal offence. Police responded to a man climbing the wall at 1.25am on Saturday, 16 September. He is also charged with attempted theft…
