Aklakur Rahman ‘tried to murder five prison officers’

An inmate accused of trying to murder five prison officers in two months is being treated in Rampton maximum security hospital. Aklakur Rahman, 37, allegedly tried to kill three members of staff at maximum security HMP Belmarsh and two others at HMP Swaleside between September 2022 and October 2022.
