Binman tried to pocket fortune after hurting his elbow

  A crooked binman who tried to pocket nearly £400,000 from his employers after hurting his elbow at work has been let off with a suspended jail sentence. Frederick Groves, 52, tried to bag a fortune from Basildon Borough Council in Essex after tearing a tendon while lifting a crate in July 2011.
