A teenage boy was seen smirking ‘like he had just won candy’ after a 49-year-old man was beaten to death with rocks, a court heard. The 16-year-old was on holiday on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent, with a 16-year-old girl and a boy, aged 15, when they first met Alexander Cashford last summer.
