Christmas lights bomb hoax on Downing Street

An IT technician sparked a full scale security alert when he went to Downing Street carrying a bag of Corona beers and Christmas lights, a court heard. Health Secretary Matt Hancock was about to arrive when Toby Champeney, 58, brandished the suspicious package at the Prime Minister’s official residence.
