Cockroach surprise for deli customer

A deli owner who was forced to shut up shop after cockroaches and mouse droppings were found at his café has been ordered to pay £9,000. Alexander Scott, 64, was running The Deli at Queen’s Park, northwest London, when a customer reported a bug infestation to authorities. Health and safety inspectors closed the café immediately after finding mouse droppings and dead cockroaches as well as filthy food preparation areas.
