Commuter ‘punched and racially abused Tube worker’

An ‘angry’ commuter punched a Tube worker in the face and told him to ‘go back to his country’ after he was denied entry to a station, a court heard. Terence Friend, 66, was on his way home but saw TfL staff locking the entrance gate at Victoria station on 25 February this year.
