Cop denies charge after cyclist is hit

A police officer accused of running over a cyclist during a chase has denied causing serious injury by dangerous driving. PC Eugene Acheampong, 27, and a colleague were responding to reports of two suspects breaking into cars at Wood Green, north London, on August 3 last year.
