Dam burst legal firm are ‘trying to rewrite Brazilian law’

A British legal firm is using the English judicial system to rewrite Brazilian law, a court heard. The claim was made as part of ‘the largest class action in history’ brought by law firm Pogust Goodhead (PG), who represent more than 600,000 Brazilian claimants, against mining giant BHP in a dam burst case, the High Court heard.
