An equalities and diversity officer at a London prison had an ‘inappropriate’ relationship with an inmate, a court heard. HMP Wormwood Scrubs officer Pamela Belonwu, 51, is said to have abused the public’s trust by calling and texting inmate Clifton Thomas between October 2018 and July 2019.
