Eco-activist fined for Bank of England paint attack

An eco-activist was fined £1,000 today (mon) for spraying orange paint on the walls of the Bank of England. Just Stop Oil protester Rachel Mann, 64, admitted causing criminal damage to the walls of the historic building in Threadneedle Street in the City of London last Halloween. Mann caused £6,890 worth of damage but was ordered to pay just £1,000 in compensation.
