Elderly couple made to walk on broken glass by raiders

An elderly couple were tied up with duct tape, beaten with a hammer and forced to walk over broken glass in a terrifying raid on their home, a court heard today (Thurs). Richard Leslie, 37, and John McCarthy, 35, along with two other men who have never been traced, donned forensic suits and surgical gloves before forcing the front door of the home of Albert and Supanee Gazeley, it is claimed.
