Electrician ‘used Encrochat to move millions’

An electrician accused of using Encrochat to move up to £9m worth of drug money has been remanded in custody. Daniel Carberry, 36, is said to have used the handle ‘Grabbing Paper’ on the secretive messaging network, smashed in 2020, following a Europe-wide police operation.
