XR protester beats road block case

An Extinction Rebellion protester has been cleared of blocking the road after successfully appealing her conviction for a 2019 protest. Amelia Halls, 23, denied unlawfully obstructing Hartmann Road during a protest near London City Airport but was give a conditional discharge and ordered to pay £421 after magistrates found her guilty.
