Ex cop faces assault retrial

A former Met Police officer accused of assaulting a woman he met in a nightclub nearly 19 years ago is facing a retrial. Stephen Kyere, 57, allegedly abused the 23-year-old at her home after showing her his police warrant card in the Oceana nightclub in Kingston, southwest London, in April 2004.
