FaceTime killer beat grandfather to death

A grandson beat his 74-year-old grandfather to death while Facetiming his girlfriend, a court heard. Jack Forde, 25, killed Christopher Martin at their shared home in New Cross, southeast London, in the early hours of 28 May 2021. Forde FaceTimed his girlfriend during the attack and she witnessed some of the violence. He appeared at the Old Bailey today (weds) wearing a blue and white Puma jacket as he denied murder but admitted manslaughter on the basis of diminished responsibility….
