Facing trial for ‘Alcatraz’ jailbreak
An inmate accused of escaping Pentonville Prison by placing dummies in his bed in an Alcatraz-style breakout will stand trial next month. Matthew Baker, 28, allegedly fooled guards with blankets and pillows made to look as if he was still in bed overnight on 7 November last year.
