Father and son face New Year trail for killing of this man

A father and son accused of killing a loving family man by running him over in a supermarket carpark are facing trial in the New Year. Gary Ternent, 58, and son Bobby, 32, allegedly murdered John Avers after dragging him from his car. The pair then got inside their BMW and ran over Mr Avers, 47, four times at Iceland’s carpark on Whalebone Lane, Dagenham.
