Footie fan denies player assault

An Arsenal football fan accused of running on to the pitch and shoving Manchester United defender Chris Smalling with both hands has denied assault. Gary Cooper, 30, allegedly pushed the centre back at the Emirates Stadium just hours after a Birmingham City supporter punched Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish to the ground.
