Cleared of Libor fix
Two former Barclays bankers were cleared by a jury of rigging Libor rates as they handled billions of pounds worth of deals today (thurs). Stylianos Contogoulas, 45, and New York-based trader Ryan Reich, 35, were said to have plotted to tweak the complex interest rate to give them an edge in massive deals between 1 June 2005 and 1 September 2007.
