Former Ritz waiter thieved perfume from Boots

A former Ritz waiter who stole more than £700 worth of beauty products from Boots was spared jail. Filippo Giuffrida, 30, served afternoon tea at the world famous hotel before turning to crime to pay for his addiction to crystal meth and crack cocaine. The Italian was given a suspended sentence at Westminster Magistrates’ Court after staff at the chemist spotted Giuffrida stuffing a bag with Lancome, Dior and Chanel lotions and creams on 20 June.
