Fugitive admits breaking out of Pentonville

A fugitive who escaped from Pentonville prison by placing dummies in his bed in a daring Alcatraz-style breakout is facing years behind bars. James Whitlock, 31, fooled guards with blankets and pillows made to look as if he was still in bed overnight on 7 November. Whitlock used diamond-tipped cutting equipment to slice through the prison bars before climbing over the wall to freedom.
