Handyman who ran over pensioner had drug driving conviction
A handyman who ran over and killed an elderly pedestrian is facing jail. Muhammadh Ahlaaq Afdhel, 27, collided with 78-year-old Albert Aspinall in East Ham, east London on May 1, 2022. Mr Aspinall was taken to hospital and died from his injuries three days later. Afdhel had a previous conviction for driving while over the limit for prescribed drugs from 24 March 2021.
