Held on the secure ward after pigeon sacrifice

A man accused of beheading a pigeon is now fit to plead after being held in a psychiatric unit. Celsio Rodrigues De Jesus, 44, stabbed the bird repeatedly and cut off its head in front of shocked members of the public in Vauxhall Bridge Road, Pimlico, on 10 December, it was said.
