‘Mole’ gets sentence reduced – by two weeks
A HS2 ‘mole’ who spent two days living in a tunnel he had dug under rail link construction work has had his sentence reduced. Elliot Cuciurean, 25, burrowed under the site in Staffordshire between 16 and 18 March 2021. It cost HS2 around £195,000 to safely remove him and two other protestors.
