Immigrants were given illegal advice by sham firm

A female company boss helped run an international law firm which provided unlawful legal advice to immigrants for more than two years, a court heard. Zia Bi, 39, was a director at Burlow & Spencer Ltd, which offered ‘the best immigration advice’ tailored to each client. Romanian lawyer Dan Romulus Dandes, 53, and Babbar Jamil, 32, were directors of DDR Legal Services LLP, responsible for supervising Burlow & Spencer.
