Inmate ‘tried to murder five prison officers’

A prisoner accused of attempting to murder five prison officers will stand trial in January. Aklakur Rahman, 37, is accused of 15 offences including the attempted murder of two HMP Swaleside prison officers and three at HMP Belmarsh between September and October 2022.
