Jail for cop who risked ‘George Floyd incident’

A police officer has been jailed for three months after he risked a ‘George Floyd’ incident when he put a suspect in a a choke hold. PC Rajan Solanki, 28, was trying to put Shane Cogan in handcuffs when he began struggling violently, Westminster magistrates court heard. The officer warned he would ‘choke out’ Cogan before the suspect was restrained.
