Jail for the Romanian skimmers

Five members of a ‘Romanian crime syndicate’ were jailed for more than 24 years for distributing ATM skimming devices across the world from a garden shed. Kingpin Ionel Baluta, 33, built ‘skimmers’ and false ATM fronts with the help of ‘technical expert’ Andrei Baloui, 31, from his back garden in Colchester, Essex.
