Labour peer died after trucker ‘knocked him off mobility scooter’

  An 87-year-old Labour peer was killed after a lorry driver knocked him off his mobility scooter outside Parliament, a court heard. Kul Pandey, 56, was at the wheel of a silver Mercedes Actros Truck when he collided with Lord Thomas Taylor of Blackburn, 87, on Millbank on November 16 last year. Lord Taylor was hit on a road crossing just yards away from the House of Lords. The Lancashire peer was rushed to hospital with serious injuries and died…
