Man accused of strangling partner

A man accused of strangling his partner to death at their home will stand trial in June next year. Adkhamjon Tovasharov, 34, appeared in court today charged with the murder of Umida Eshboboeva, 29, on 12 December. The victim, who worked in the catering department of St Thomas’ Hospital in central London, was found dead at an address in Woburn Close in Thamesmead, southeast London.
