Moped robbers face jail for 103 raids

A gang of moped robbers who terrified pedestrians with a hammer and crowbar in over 100 separate raids are facing jail. The muggers, aged 15, 16 and 17, intimidated passers-by and snatched their phones across central London between 18 April and 5 May this year. The gang of three, who are all from Islington, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to rob at Southwark Crown Court and will be sentenced on 6 October.
