Mrs Lavin added; “The Doctor was not consulting with anyone else in the room.

He was jusyt a man possessed.

“He insisted on doing an examination while I was at the heitght of a contraction.

I was pleading wit him not to do it and I screamed sat him.

”

Mrs Lavin said that the doctor was “dismissive and brusque’ and at one stage threw surgical instruments across the room in ‘temper and frustration’ before telling her ‘I will get this baby out.

She added: ‘It had been a difficult birth but it was made far worse by Dr Wszeborowski.

‘My first child was a difficult birth but nowhere near as bad as this.

Mrs Lavin’s husband Paul said that his wife became ‘very distressed’ during the birth but said that Dr seemed ‘anxious throughout.
