Mugger who killed pensioner faces life sentence

A thief is facing a life sentence after he murdered a pensioner and then ate the sausage and chips the victim was taking home for his tea. Peter Augustine, 59, followed 87-year-old John Mackey after he made a trip to his local Co-op in Kayani Avenue, Manor House, north London, on 6 May.
