Pair deny carpark killing

Two men accused of battering a man to death in an east London car park will stand trial at the Old Bailey in November. Huseyin Akkoyun, 46, and Mustafa Alparslan, 20, are charged with the murder of 49 year-old Mehmet Degerli in Dalston. Mr Degerli, from Stoke Newington, was found with multiple injuries in the resident’s car park off Sandringham Road at around 1.10am on 8 June. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
