Pair deny designer bag thefts

Two alleged shoplifters have denied swiping nearly £13,000 worth of Chanel handbags. Albert Holloway, 24, and Lauren Syme, 22, are said to have pinched four designer bags from the French brand’s boutique in New Bond Street, Mayfair, on 14 July. The pair grabbed the luxury goods, worth a total of £12,910, and made off from the store within minutes, it is said.
