A former British paratrooper who volunteered against ISIS has been remanded in custody accused of plotting with Kurdish militias fighting in Syria. Daniel Burke, 32, fought with the YPG in their battle against ISIS in the Middle East between late 2017 and June 2018 before returning home to Manchester.
