Face mask nicker gets three months

A thief who hoped to cash in on the coronavirus pandemic by stealing face masks from an NHS hospital has been jailed for three months. Lerun Hussain, 34, helped himself to PPE (personal protective equipment) at King’s College Hospital, south London, on 5 April. He was caught by security guards trying to make off with three of the life-saving masks. Police attended the scene and Hussain was arrested.
