Pensioner mugger faces jail

A mugger targeted a nurse and a pensioner in a day of crime during the first lockdown, a court heard. Michael Raviraj, 36, robbed Ivanka Krasteva of her rucksack, NHS card and £20 in Bayswater, west London, on June 11. Shortly afterwards the thief targeted Carmen Jones, in her 70s, in Kensington Square Gardens. He snatched her handbag containing her £200 Samsung mobile phone and £30 in cash.
