People smuggler to pay back just £5000 in profits

A people smuggler who bundled migrants into the back of lorries to get them into the UK has been ordered to pay back less than £5,000 of his profits. Burhan Sheikhany, 30, was part of a gang who ‘exploited’ desperate migrants to reap in thousands of pounds for themselves. The group took the Indian migrants to an address in London and held them hostage until they paid an additional ransom of £10,000. Sheikhany was jailed for 12 years last September…
