People trafficker fights extradition for 27 dingy deaths

A people trafficker arrested in connection with the deaths of at least 27 migrants who drowned trying to cross the Channel in a dingy has appeared in court. Harem Ahmed Abwbaker, 32, is facing extradition to France after the mass drownings last November.
