Physiotherapist sexually assaulted patients at clinic

A physiotherapist sexually assaulted three women while performing massages, a tribunal heard today (tues). David Clay, 70, touched the women intimately at his physiotherapy and exercise clinic in Upperthorpe, Sheffield, South Yorkshire. He struck twice in 1995 but practiced freely for 14 years until he attacked a third patient in 2009, the Health and Care Professions Council heard. ‘At the time of the incidents the registrant (Clay) was practicing as a physiotherapist in Sheffield,’ said Victoria Young, for the HCPC….
