Quantity surveyor ‘issued fines to firms in £231,000 scam’

A quantity surveyor forged documents and issued fake fines to businesses in a £231,000 scam, a court heard. Paul Parmar, 50, allegedly ripped off property developer Benedict Pippet for £200,000 between 29 April and 30 September 2015. Parmar siphoned off the cash while he was working as a commercial manager and surveyor with Mr Pippet’s company Bondsbury Construction, it is claimed.
