Senior Tory injured cop with car door

A senior Tory MP seriously injured a police officer when he opened his car door without looking and knocked him off his pushbike. Father of the House Sir Edward Leigh, 74, had not checked the wing mirror of his Skoda Superb as PC Rob Amoss approached on his Brompton bike.
