Suspected moped thieves ‘swiped 12 bikes in two month spree’

  Two men stole 12 mopeds and motorbikes during a two-month crime spree, a court heard. Hisham Tawfik, 20 and Thomas McDermott, 24, allegedly thieved bikes across the capital between October and December last year. The pair stole a variety of bikes of an unknown value including Piaggios, Hondas, BMWs, Vespas, Ducatis and an Agusta, it was said.
