Terror suspect ‘went to Syria to join ISIS’
A terror suspect accused of travelling to Syria to join the Islamic State was remanded in custody. Shabbaz Suleman, 25, allegedly crossed into the war-torn country to join the militant terrorist group during a family holiday to Turkey in 2014. Upon returning to the UK on September 29, he was arrested at Heathrow Airport and charged under the Terrorism Act.
