Trial for ‘ball bearing bomber’

A student accused of planting a ‘ball bearing bomb’ on a London tube train will stand trial in April. Damon Smith, 19, allegedly left a ‘viable improvised explosive device’ on a Jubilee Line Underground train at North Greenwich Tube station on 20 October.
