Trucker ‘ran over and killed great grandfather on way to mosque’

A trucker accused of killing a 79-year-old great-grandfather as he made his way to prayers at a local mosque denied causing death by careless driving today (mon). Steven Attley, 46, drove his white lorry into retired butcher Mohammed Yousaf on 16 February last year, it is alleged. Mr Yousaf, of Walthamstow, east London, was on his way to the Lea Bridge Road Mosque in Leyton before he was dragged beneath the lorry when it collided with him at about 12.30pm….
