Turtle farm fraud victims shelled out £17m

Two fugitives who appeared on Interpol’s ‘Red Notice’ list for a £17m turtle farm scam are facing extradition to Thailand. Ploythita Niramitboonyaway, 33, and Thannawat Chookiatsakulkrai, 29, were arrested on a provisional warrant issued by Thailand for committing fraud by false representation.
