Van driver ‘ploughed into bench and killed student’

A van driver accused of killing a university student and seriously injuring two others appeared in court today (mon). Aalia Mahomed, 20, from Mitcham, south London, was sitting on a bench outside King’s College London (KCL) when she was struck by Christopher Jackson’s vehicle on March 18 last year.
